EU Green Week Special Event: Greener together – delivering Zero Pollution in practice

Air, soil and water contamination does not stop at borders. As we know, our planet’s environment is deeply interconnected to form one well-functioning ecosystem.

However, this well-functioning ecosystem will function no more if efforts to mitigate pollution are not done at the global level. Indeed, tackling pollution for a more sustainable planet and a healthier society can only be achieved through worldwide collaboration in preventing pollution across all sectors.

More than ever, the economy has to get the right incentives to allow Europe to bounce back after the Pandemic. In this context, Zero Pollution is more than a bold objective. It is a joint predicament for Politics, Business and Science.

Tech companies in particular hold the key towards unlocking leveraging potential, enabling other actors to fully unleash their emission reduction potential. 

With Europe making the right noises in terms of political will for pollution mitigation, this event will discuss how smart solutions can be integrated in the EU’s zero-pollution goals and how the EU should go forward in setting the example at international level.
