The 2016 election sent shockwaves around the world this week as Donald Trump surprised nearly everyone with a landslide victory. But buried beneath the partisanship, there are serious political implications, not just for the United States, but for the world at large. Brussels and greater Europe are not immnue from these ripple effects, and not simply because President-Elect Trump kept making allusions to Brexit.
How will Trump's election affect the balance of power between Russia and Europe? How will Trump's nationalism affect campaigns in other countries?
